Baldwin Wallace University offers an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program for individuals possessing a bachelor’s degree or higher in a non-nursing field. Students are admitted for the Fall or Spring cohort and beginning Fall, 2018, the program transitions to 15 months. This intensive program offers a concept-based curriculum with a strong foundation in teaching and learning that includes over 700 hours of small group clinical instruction at some of the finest medical centers in the nation. Additionally, all Baldwin Wallace Nursing students complete certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as part of the curriculum. BW nursing graduates are prepared to enter into practice with a focus on the provision of the highest quality nursing care and excellence in leadership. Graduates achieved greater than a 97% on average first time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) in 2017. The Baldwin Wallace University ABSN program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and has full approval from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
