The Mount’s MSN-MAGELIN is an innovative, pre-licensure degree program for those with a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing discipline who are interested in becoming a registered nurse in a short amount of time. The program spans four consecutive semesters and students enroll in 15-17 credit hours each semester. MSN-MAGELIN students take a variety of courses related to clinical content, clinical practice, research, theory, leadership, and health care policy. Upon graduation, students will be prepared to take the national nursing licensure examination (NCLEX-RN). Approval and accreditation: Ohio Board of Regents (OBR), Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
